| With so much to choose from, you'll find a way to explore what interests you. Whether it's academic, recreational, or service clubs, our variety of organizations is unmatched. Whatever your interests, we have something for you!
Calvert Hall offers a full range of co-curricular student activities. The activities program is an extension of the educational process at Calvert Hall. Whether through athletics, clubs, or committees, a student's education takes place not only from 8:25 to 2:45 each day, but also through our extensive activities program. The activities program is designed to do all of the following:
- Provide experiences that meet the academic, physical, social, and religious needs of the student body;
- Provide leadership opportunities for students;
- Broaden a student's horizons and interests in activities that can become lifelong pursuits;
- Build a sense of community among members of the Calvert Hall community;
- Develop a sense of service to the community;
- Develop values like teamwork, cooperation, and responsibility.
The Activities Program is directed and coordinated by the Office of Student Affairs. This office is responsible for approving all student activities, securing faculty moderators for each activity, and coordinating the planning, scheduling, and execution of activities and events. The Office of Student Affairs publishes a yearly calendar of events, provides leadership training, and is an advocate for student activities.
