 | As a private, Catholic, college preparatory school, Calvert Hall has an unrivaled reputation for excellence. The school is proud to be part of a 300 year-old, international network of Lasallian schools. Our primary mission is to provide a comprehensive program that facilitates Christian values, academic excellence and the spiritual, cultural, moral, and physical development of each student in a safe, structured, and nurturing atmosphere.
Founded by the De La Salle Christian Brothers in 1845, Calvert Hall strives to educate the leaders of tomorrow. Our dedicated and caring faculty and staff are committed to delivering a comprehensive and challenging academic foundation that fosters critical thinking, creativity, personal development and self-respect. Counselors and support staff address individual, academic, career, and spiritual needs of each student. An extensive campus ministry program, which complements classes in religious studies, affords opportunities for retreat, liturgical, and community service experiences. Vibrant fine arts offerings foster intellectual and creative expression. And an array of athletic and extra- and co-curricular activities on all levels provide for a well-rounded educational experience.
The recent additions of George Young Hall and the Carlo Crispino Stadium have enabled the school to add programs and opportunities as well as enhance existing ones. Extensive renovations to Keelty Hall, the school’s central academic building, are currently underway. These enhancements, including new, state-of-the-art science labs, will provide for greater energy efficiency and will help to make for an improved learning environment. Come see for yourself! As we prepare to celebrate 50 years at our Towson campus, you are invited to become part of the Calvert Hall tradition. Staff members are always eager to assist with questions. A visit to the school will allow for a first-hand glimpse of excellence in action.
“St. John Baptist de LaSalle, pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts, forever.”

| | We hail our Alma Mater
And faithful sons are we
To her we pledge our honor,
Our trust and loyalty.
To Calvert Hall forever
Her sons will loyal be.
With God and Country foremost
We'll march to victory.
Her gold and card'nal colors
We proudly wave on high;
They call for faith and courage
Uplift them to the sky
In fair and stormy weather
We'll harken to your call
We're true to thee forever,
Our own dear Calvert Hall. |
