For the last one hundred and seventy-six years, Calvert Hall has provided a Catholic college preparatory education in the Lasalllian tradition.  The mission of our founder, St. John Baptist De LaSalle, calls on us to be a school where academic prowess thrives, where young men are involved in their community, and where a brotherhood is created that will last a lifetime.  As the oldest Christian Brothers school in the country, we are proud of our history and respect our traditions.
Academic excellence has always been a part of our rich tradition.  The pursuit of knowledge and fostering a love of learning go hand-in-hand with our commitment to provide a 21st century learning experience for each of our students.  Our twenty-four Advanced Placement courses, individualized scheduling, emphasis on technology, and college preparedness and placement are testaments of our commitment to academic excellence.
Along with our commitment to academics, we believe in educating the whole person.  More than seventy clubs, forty athletic teams, and extensive service programs provide something for everyone.  Our learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom.  There is truly something for everyone on our campus!
As you navigate our website, we hope you will feel our warm, welcoming, and vibrant community.   We are extremely grateful to our many alums, benefactors, family and friends who support this mission of this wonderful school.  With God’s blessings, we will continue to be a school of excellence that graduates Men of Intellect, Men of Faith, and Men of Integrity.
