Virtual Admissions

As we progress through these uncertain times, we are committed to giving each family the opportunity to experience our unique Calvert Hall community in many ways. Below you will find both in-person and virtual options to learn more about all that Calvert Hall has to offer. We look forward to connecting with you throughout this process!

Cardinal Campus Experience

With the impact COVID-19 has had on the State of Maryland, Calvert Hall is not offering traditional shadow days at this time. However, we are able to host personalized tours on campus for you to experience all that we have to offer. We feel that visiting campus is the most important piece to the high school decision process. Because of this importance and limited availability, we are offering personal campus tours for 8th grade families only

The Cardinal Campus Experience will allow you to meet with the Admissions team, tour our 32-acre campus, experience our Hybrid Learning Model in action, and have an opportunity for us to answer all of the questions you may have regarding Calvert Hall.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, only the 8th grader and a maximum of 2 guests (parent, guardian, etc.) will be able to attend the Cardinal Campus Experience. We require the 8th grader to be in attendance so he can personally experience the Calvert Hall community.

For planning purposes, you should expect the Cardinal Campus Experience to last approximately 2 hours.

Calvert Hall is committed to the safety of its community and those visiting. We follow CDC and Maryland Health Department guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Masks are required for attendance.

Cardinal Campus Experience Registration

Once you register, we will send you all the details you need to know.

We look forward to having you on campus!

Open House - Saturday, October 31, 2020

We are excited to offer our Open House this year on Saturday, October 31. This is an opportunity for current 8th grade families to tour campus and have personal interaction (socially distanced, of course!) with teachers, students, club moderators, and athletic coaches. This year’s Open House will look a bit different than our typical format due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we will limit the number of guests on campus at any one time.

If you are planning to, or have already attended a Cardinal Campus Experience, you can opt out of the campus tour and instead, choose to interact directly with specific teachers, department chairs, our administration, club moderators, and athletic coaches. This is a great way to answer your specific questions based on your individual passions and interests!

Calvert Hall is committed to the safety of its community and those visiting. We follow CDC and Maryland Health Department guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Masks are required for attendance.

Registration is now full – no walk ups are allowed.

During this call, we will discuss Calvert Hall, the admission and application process, and the many resources that we have to offer our young men. This is an opportunity for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Please email Ms. Lucy Baker at bakerl@calverthall.com to set up a time.

We look forward to “Teaming Up” with you!
