Competing in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) in 17 sports with 40 different teams, our Cardinals have won over 150 boy’s high school athletics championships while garnering both regional and national recognition.
We believe that participating in competitive athletics is an integral part of every Calvert Hall student’s educational experience, whether he is playing or supporting our teams as a spectator. To us, the benefits are clear: a healthy body and mind along with the skills learned by working as part of a team. These skills include self-discipline; emotional maturity; respect for others; the importance of brotherhood, commitment, and a system of morals.
In addition to teams at the varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen levels, we have a number of
club and intramural teams. We truly believe we have sports to attract athletes at every level. Some of our teams are highly competitive while others can be joined by simply walking onto the field or court.
All questions regarding Calvert Hall athletics should be directed Athletic Director,
