We look forward to an evening of celebrating Calvert Hall's tradition and future as we honor and induct six new members into The Hall of Fame on Saturday, March 25, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m.- James Burke '53, Joseph Hirsch '72, John Johnson '81, Lee Martin '83, Charles LoPresto, Ph.D '65, and Michael Keelty '70

  • How should I dress?

    This event is black-tie optional. 
  • What time does the Gala begin?

    Cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the program, dinner, and dancing to follow. 
  • Where should I park?

    There will be parking attendants throughout Towson's campus directing you where to park. Guests should park Lot 8.
  • Once I am on campus, where I should I go?

    The Gala will be held in the SECU Arena. The cocktail hour will take place on the concourse, while the program, dinner, and dancing will take place on the main floor. 
  • What should I expect during the cocktail hour?

    Guests will have the opportunity to be served beverages while enjoying Bacon Twists artistically displayed at four different locations as well as delight on the following passed hors d'oeuvres:

    Coconut Shrimp
    Toasted Coconut Shrimp Served in a Shot Glass
    With a Mango Coconut Ginger Sauce

    Edamame Potsticker (Vegan)
    Crispy Edamame Wonton with a Soy Dipping Sauce and Garnished with Green Onions
    Served in a Demitasse Cup

    Day Boat Sea Scallops (G)
    Lemon Dusted with a Rosemary Beurre Blance
    Passed on a Bamboo Fork

    Goat Cheese Croquette
    Herb Crusted Goat Cheese Topped with Pear-Basil Marmalade

    The signature beverage is the Cardinal Smash. This drink is comprised of Stoli Vodka, Ginger Ale, and Cranberry Juice all the while being served over ice and garnished with fresh cranberries.

  • Who will be performing?

    Guests will be serenaded by the sounds of The Klassix following the conclusion of the program. The band will take centerstage until 11:00 p.m.
