Brother John has spent the last 15 years in higher education at La Salle University. Prior to that he spent time in 3 different Lasallian high schools. Brother John enjoys sports, playing golf and reading.
Mr. Charles S Stembler

As a graduate, Mr. Stembler was thrilled to come back to his alma mater and teach. After teaching in the English Department for the first two years, he spent the majority of his teaching years in the Social Studies Department, mostly teaching Advanced Placement Government. Before becoming Principal, Mr. Stembler spent twenty years as Assistant Principal for Student Affairs. Mr. Stembler adds, "Our students are a pleasure to be with each day. They are kind, respectful, caring, and strive to be Men of Intellect, Men of Faith, and Men of Integrity. Our rigorous academic program and variety of activities gives each student the ability to thrive and be successful. It is watching each student develop that makes Calvert Hall such an exciting place.
Mr. Joseph Baker
Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Advancement
A 1976 graduate of the Hall, Mr. Baker has been a member of the mathematics faculty since 1980. Currently the CAO/Director of Advancement, Mr. Baker previously served for 13 years as the Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs. Mr. Baker teaches Honors Pre-Calculus and has presented at a number of regional and national conventions held by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
Mr. Jeffrey D Blake
Vice Principal of Academic Affairs

Mr. Blake earned a B.S. in Education and Mathematics at Towson University and an M.E.S. in Computer Engineering at Loyola University in Baltimore. As Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, Mr. Blake supervises the guidance office, admissions, and academics. His sons Zach('08) and Luke('12) received fantastic educations at Calvert Hall, full of successes in and out of the classroom. Although he is proud of all graduates for their excellence in academics, sports, music and faith, Mr. Blake is most proud of their choice to be caring and loving young men.
Dean of Students
Juniata College - B.A. Notre Dame of Maryland University - M.A.
Mr. Mitchell attended Juniata College where he received a degree in English Education. Later he received a Masters Degree from the College of Notre Dame. A member of the English Department since 2000, Mr. Mitchell continues to teach a section of English while serving as Dean of Students. Mr. Mitchell enjoys working as a member of a caring school community that works diligently to create men of faith, intellect, and integrity.
Director of Student Activities

Marc Parisi came to Calvert Hall directly out of Mount Saint Mary's University. Marc spent nine years as the Director of Campus Ministry before joining the Advancement Team as the Communications Director for a year. Mr. Parisi is excited to be the Director of Student Activities. In this role Marc is responsible for building upon the great tradition of student clubs and activities so that there are extracurricular options for each student.
