In Walk-Off, Calvert Hall Loses To Olympia

A walk-off left Calvert Hall on the wrong end of a 4-3 defeat to Olympia on Wednesday.
 The game was tied at three with Olympia batting in the bottom of the eighth when #20 singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Calvert Hall fired up the offense in the first inning. Antonio Barranca singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Olympia knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the fifth inning. Lakers drove in one when he singled.
After Calvert Hall scored two runs in the top of the fourth, Olympia answered with two of their own. Calvert Hall scored when Sami Khan singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Olympia then answered when an error scored one run for Olympia.
Brady Power took the loss. He went two and a third innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out one.
Peter Marchineck started the game for the Cards. He surrendered three runs on two hits over five innings, striking out two
Calvert Hall tallied six hits in the game. Khan and Barranca all managed multiple hits. Barranca and Khan each collected two hits to lead Calvert Hall.
