The Cards fired up the offense in the first inning, when an error scored one run. The Hall notched four runs in the fourth inning. Parker Landwehr, Nicholas Tamberino, and Sami Khan powered the big inning with RBIs. Brady Power was the winning pitcher. He surrendered one run on zero hits over four innings, striking out one. Kasey Baumgart and Michael Bair entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Calvert Hall totaled 18 hits. Landwehr, Garrett McIlhenney, Tamberino, Jose Torres, Alex Khan, and Frankie Wright each racked up multiple hits for Calvert Hall Varsity 2019. McIlhenney and Landwehr each managed three hits to lead The Cards.
