Calvert Hall Takes Victory Over St. Mary's
Cards beat St. Mary's 5-1 on Friday.
Cards got on the board in the first inning. Calvert Hall scored one run when Antonio Barranca singled.
The Hall put up three runs in the second inning led by Sami Khan and Jose Torres, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Alex Khan was the winning pitcher. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out three and walking one. Michael Bair and Grant Duemmel entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Barranca went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Cards in hits
