Calvert Hall Welcomes 19 New Faculty & Staff Members

These newest additions to The Hall bring a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Donna Bridickas is joining our Math Department. She is has ministered in Catholic education for 35 years as a teacher and administrator but is excited to be back in the classroom. She is a graduate of The Catholic High School of Baltimore and received her Master’s from Loyola University of Maryland. 
 
Ted Buch is joining our Social Studies Department. He’s a graduate of University of Notre Dame. Ted recently moved from Naples, Florida where he taught at a Catholic School. 
 
Pat Collins '15 is joining us as a Campus Minister. He is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University. 
 
Sylvia Doud is joining the Counseling Department. She was most recently at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. Sylvia has her Master’s from Loyola University of Maryland. 
 
Lindsay Harris is joining LaSalle as a Learning Specialist. Lindsay received her Master’s Degree from Goucher College. Prior to Calvert Hall she was a Special Education Teacher at Kennedy Krieger High School. 
 
Kabria Haskins is joining our Counseling Department. She received her Master’s from The George Washington University. She served in Americorp Program working with students from Title I schools in DC. Kabria received her undergraduate degree from University of Maryland and attended St. Paul’s School for Girls for High School.
 
Kirkbride Loya is joining our Science Department, He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Goucher College and is pursuing his Master’s at University of Kentucky. He spent his last 5 years teaching organic chemistry and doing research at UK. 
 
Maddie Makowski will join our Mathematics Department. She has her Bachelor’s in Math from The College of Charleston. She has been working in Catholic Schools for the past 3 years. 
 
Gretchen Montcalmo will join LaSalle as a Learning Specialist . She has her Master’s from Loyola University of Maryland. She has been a practicing Speech Language pathologist for the past 27 years. 

Maddie Pikus is joining us as a Campus Minister. She is a graduate of Loyola University of Maryland. 
 
Brian Rowe is joining our Social Studies Department. He has his Bachelor’s degree from Randolph Macon College. He will continue to coach JV Football and JV Lacrosse.
 
Josh Shank is joining us in the Social Studies Department. He was most recently at Loch Raven Academy. He received his Bachelor’s from Towson University. 
 
Joe Szczybor will be joining our Foreign Language Department. He received his Bachelor’s from University of Maryland. He will be teaching Spanish. Most recently Joe taught in Belize.

  • Susan Dragonette will be joining us in the attendance office.
  • Jeannie Kihn is the new Alumni Relations Coordinator.
  • Tom Malstrom is the new Major Gifts and Planned Giving Officer.
  • Kim Hladky joins us as the Advancement Services Manager. 
  • Kelsey Morris is the new Administrative Assistant in the Office of Student Affairs. 
  • Will Wellien '05 will be joining our Admissions team as the Assistant Director of Admissions.
