Mr. Louis Miserendino's Letter for McMullen Program newsletter

Alumni, Friends, and Benefactors of the McMullen Program

This issue of the McMullen Newsletter comes to you as the McMullen Scholars in the Class of 2021 make their Capstone presentations in a hybrid-learning environment.

Although some seniors have been able to make their presentations in person, others have been using Microsoft Teams to take part in this annual tradition.  The Class of 2021 deserves much credit for working hard on such a significant project throughout this unusual period, and we are excited to offer you a look into the latest McMullen Capstone Experience.

This edition of the newsletter also draws attention to Scott Pawley, one of six Knott Scholars in the freshman class of the McMullen Scholars Program.  Scott is a great student with a great heart.  We are fortunate that the program continues to attract outstanding talent.

Finally, we catch up with Ryan Cordell ’08.  Ryan already has years of experience working in the highest level of professional football, and he is currently a Coaching Assistant with the Cleveland Browns.  We are grateful that Ryan has taken the time to share his story in our “Where Are They Now?” section.  Thank you, Ryan!  Congratulations!

Sincerely,

Louis Miserendino
Director, McMullen Scholars Program
