We focused our collective efforts on creating an event that would drive interest to the entire CHC alumni base, enhance the brotherhood and camaraderie we all enjoy, provide top shelf food and beverage by asking alumni in those industries to participate, program new features that would engage the masses and create a vibe that would make this a “Must Attend” annual event for all alumni.
Guess what? We succeeded. Since 2019 we have increased attendance year over year by 25% or more. This includes 2020 during the pandemic when we did not have an in-person event, but still conducted registrations and a virtual event that had over 700 participants.
Here are some facts: The 2022 CHC Homecoming was attended by 1300 alumni returning to The Hall
32% of them were under age 30
44% under age 40
The largest population in attendance by graduating decade year was 2010-2020
The Augie Miceli Toast was another special event
The Bourbon, Craft Beers and Cigar Bar were all, once again, a huge hit
The Uber ride share program was a welcomed new addition this year
The high respondent rate and high scores from our survey provide true testimony
This does not happen without the centric care, perfect effort, and huge hearts of many people. I would like to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to; The CHC Alumni Association; The CHC Alumni Association Homecoming Committee; The CHC Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations; The CHC Institution; All of the volunteers who worked tirelessly setting up and taking down the venues; The many CHC supporters and donors that provide auction items, food, beverage and more and last but not least, our CHC Alumni who attend and the event so enjoyable and fun.
I hope you all had a wonderful experience during our 2022 CHC Homecoming event and if you were not able to participate in this Homecoming event, I hope you make it a point to be part of the fun for our 2023 Homecoming.
If you would like to get involved and share your talents and skills with your alumni brothers, simply connect with me and I will make it happen.
I wish each and every one of you and your families the absolute best in 2023 and beyond.
Peace always.
