Band Wins Sugar Bowl Field Competition
The Competition Marching Band and Jazz Band traveled to New Orleans for the Allstate Sugar Bowl during Christmas Break where they competed against 15 other schools from around the country.
The band earned 1st place in the field competition as well as winning all awards in their category (six in total). By winning the overall best band award they earned the privilege to hold the American Flag on field during the National Anthem of the Sugar Bowl. The band also participated in the Sugar Bowl halftime show. This experience capped off an undefeated season.
