Gaels drop Ice Cards in league opener.

Puck dropped on the 2017-2018 JV hockey season on Monday afternon at the glorious Mt. Pleasant Ice Arena.  Eager to get going in game action the home Ice Cards had a tough tilt with MIAA runner up Mount St. Joe.  Senior Joe Ketchen, who steps in as starting goalie this season shook off the pre game jitters & put forth a solid effort with 29 saves.  Sophomore Zach Dooley would strike first for the Cards with assist from Connor Walch. Senior Kevin Shiflett fights off multiple Gaels defenders with a beauty top shelf.

It was good to shake off the rust & get some their first taste of high school hockey.  Next up a Tuesday road game with cross town rival Loyola Blakefield.  Puck drop 4:00 @ Reisterstown Sportsplex.
