“It really means a lot to the kids, and that’s why I do this,” said Calvert Hall Coach Jamie Smith. “They really got fired up about it and it gave them extra motivation to go out there and do it. Winning the B-title actually came right down to the wire with us and Mt. Carmel having several kids in the placement matches. This is definitely a program booster, and a big step in the right direction for us. All of our guys are committed to wrestling this spring/summer and next school year.”



Jarrell Mayo was fourth at 195 and Zach O’Brocki placed seventh at 106lbs for the Cardinals.
