Vehicles For Change

Vehicles for Change
Calvert Hall continues its partnership with Vehicles for Change (VFC), a non-profit program that exists so that low-income families can achieve financial and personal independence that comes from owning a vehicle. Together, Calvert Hall and VFC are providing a valuable tool to eliminate poverty and strengthen families. When Calvert Hall is mentioned during the donation process, VFC will share the net proceeds, giving Calvert Hall 40% of the donation. Since the partnership began in June 2009, more than 60 cars have been donated through our community, raising nearly $12,000 for the Hall Fund. For more information, please call 410-242-9676 or log onto www.vehiclesforchange.org.

LaSallian Assessment
11/15/2013
Dear Members of the Calvert Hall Community,

This year, Calvert Hall is undertaking our LaSallian Assessment.  A team of educators from the Christian Brothers' District of Eastern North America (DENA) will be visiting our school from December 4-6.

The faculty and staff have met numerous times since August to evaluate and make suggestions on how we can further achieve the Five Goals of LaSallian Mission.  The results of these meetings have been compiled into our LaSallian Assessment document.  This document lays out, for the next several years, how we plan to move the school to greater fulfillment of our mission.

The team that will be here in early December will evaluate the plan and make suggestions on how we can reach our goals.  Please read through this document when you have a chance.  If you have any input, please feel free to let me know.
