Art of Film Class

Overview: Do you love movies? Do you prefer Westerns, Sci-Fi, Coming of Age, or War genres? Study them all and more by registering for “The Art of Film”! Learn to critically analyze great films – enjoy a small-class environment with opportunities for critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills development. Complete your Sophomore Arts course requirement and open your Fall schedule by completing this special over-the-summer course! Register online while spots remain – contact Mr. Ford in the English Department ( with any questions.

This course is only being offered to current CHC studentsYou will be required to login with your Parent/Student account to access this registration.

  • Satisfies CHC Sophomore “Arts” course requirement
  • ½ credit on the CHC transcript
  • Summer learning opportunity not offered during the normal school year
Dates and Times:  
  • Class meets at 11am, Monday thru Friday
  • 6/24 – 7/3 (first 2 weeks, stopping at the 4th weekend) for 2.5 hours each
  • 7/8 – 7/19 (last 2 weeks) for 3 hours each
  • 50 total hours of in-class instruction
Cost: $400 per student
