Calvert Hall Begins Lenten Season with Ash Wednesday Liturgy
Calvert Hall welcomed Fr. Marty Nocchi (Pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Govans) to celebrate our Ash Wednesday liturgy on Wednesday, February 18th.
Calvert Hall welcomed Fr. Marty Nocchi (Pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Govans) to celebrate our Ash Wednesday liturgy on Wednesday, February 18th. Fr. Marty stressed that in our lives we ought to seek "the perfect one (Christ) ... not perfection." He also talked about Lent as a season to remind ourselves that we can't be God, but we can seek his presence daily in our lives.
