CHC Appoints Dr. John Mojzisek as Director of Mission and Ministry
Calvert Hall College High School is pleased to announce the appointment ofDr. John Mojzisek '83 as the Director of Mission and Ministry.
An alumnus and longtime educator, Dr. Mojzisek returns to his alma mater with more than three decades of experience in Catholic education, campus ministry, counseling, and leadership. His appointment reflects Calvert Hall's continued commitment to strengthening its Lasallian Catholic mission while forming young men of intellect, faith, and integrity.
As Director of Mission and Ministry, Dr. Mojzisek will lead initiatives that deepen the school's commitment to the Five Core Principles of the Lasallian tradition: Faith in the Presence of God, Respect for All Persons, Inclusive Community, Quality Education, and Concern for the Poor and Social Justice. He will also oversee Campus Ministry and serve as the institution's liaison for District and Regional Lasallian formation initiatives.
Dr. Mojzisek is no stranger to Calvert Hall. His previous service at the school includes roles as Religion Faculty, Campus Minister, School Counselor, and Director of Admissions. Since then, he has served as Director of Counseling at The Gilman School, Pastoral Associate for Mission and Planning at St. Joseph Parish - Cockeysville, Coordinator of Youth Ministries at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Affiliate Professor of Counseling and Education at Loyola University Maryland, and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
A graduate of Calvert Hall's Class of 1983, Dr. Mojzisek earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame, a Master's degree in Education and School Counseling as well as a Ph.D. in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University Maryland, and a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Spirituality from Washington Theological Union.
