Parents' Club

The Parents’ Club of Calvert Hall College is an organization meant to provide a mechanism for parents to engage in social, service, and fundraising activities in support of the school. These events promote goodwill among parents, as well as between parents and school professionals. Funds raised through these events supplement the normal income of the school and enhance opportunities for students. The Parents’ Club of Calvert Hall College also exists to support the ideals of a Christian Brothers’ education by supporting the efforts of the school’s professional staff.

  • Post-Prom After Party

Prom night can be a time filled with excitement, anticipation, and perhaps, anxiety. Members of the Calvert Hall family can rest easy knowing parents, family and friends have pulled together to sponsor the annual Calvert Hall all-night Post Prom Party at Dave & Buster’s at Arundel Mills.

This annual event, sponsored by the Parents’ Club of Calvert Hall and funded through our yearly fundraisers and charitable donations, is a wonderful way for our sons and their date to continue the prom night celebration in a safe, drug and alcohol free, chaperoned environment. There is no cost for any of the attendees, and great prizes given out throughout the night. Even the cost of all transportation is covered — from Calvert Hall to the Prom at the M&T Bank Stadium to Dave & Buster’s and back to Calvert Hall. All the great fun and games available at Dave & Busters are reserved exclusively for Calvert Hall Seniors and their dates. Plus, great prizes are given out throughout the night to the seniors and several grand prizes will be awarded at the very end of the night.

We need your help to continue this great prom night tradition. We are asking all parents and/or guardians of a Calvert Hall student to please make the most generous contribution you can! We NEED:

    • Monetary Donations: Last year, monetary donations ranged from $10-$400. To make an online donation, click here.

    • Prize Donations: No item is too small! In the past, prizes have included dorm-size refrigerators, TVs, laptops, iPads and all types of gift cards (such as Wawa, Amazon, Dunkin Donuts, gas cards, movie cards, and fast food cards). We try to provide as many prizes as possible for our sons! Groups of parents may jointly donate a basket or large prize as well. Click here to print the form that should be submitted with any prize donations.

    • Parent Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to ensure the success of this unforgettable evening. The Post-Prom Committee can’t make this night happen without your help before and at the event, so please help however you can. Information about volunteer opportunities can be found on the Parent Resource square under 2022 Graduation Resources. There will also be a sign-up genius sent by email.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!

    Most Appreciatively,

Dana Keller (Bodie ’24) — Parents’ Club President
