About College Application Camp

The college application process can be time-consuming and daunting, particularly this year.  Come into your senior year ahead of the curve by attending the CHC Summer College Application Camp, which will prepare you to:
  • Complete the Common and, if needed, the Coalition applications;
  • Meet with college counselors, college admission officers, and essay-writing professionals to review and refine your personal and/or supplemental essay;
  • Hear from representatives from some of the top colleges and universities from across the country on various aspects of the college admission process;
  • Organize college application materials, including application requirements and deadlines;
  • Learn how to best engage with colleges and universities;
  • Gain more information on financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

College Application Camp Dates

**Session I**
Tuesday, 6/9/2026 — Thursday, 6/11/2026

**Session II**
Tuesday, 8/11/2026 — Thursday, 8/13/2026

9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Cost is $235 per student.

Register early! Space is limited.

  • Who should attend this boot camp?

    This boot camp is for rising seniors who may want an opportunity to get a head start on their college application process. This session may be especially helpful for those with a busy fall schedule.

  • How can I prepare for College Application Boot Camp?

    During this program, students will work on completing the Common Application and refining their college essays, along with programming that will help prepare them for all aspects of the college admissions process. On top of having internet access and a device to use for the camp, we ask all camp participants to have a draft of their personal essay before the first day of their camp. Any additional requests will be communicated via email.

  • I have siblings/friends at another school and they want to come. Can they pay and attend?

    Yes! This camp is open to any rising senior who wishes to attend.

  • What is the Common Application?

    The Common Application is accepted at hundreds of colleges and universities in the United States and abroad. With one application, seniors can apply to multiple schools. All schools belonging to Common App may be found here:
