Theatre

The theatre was created to tell people the truth about life and the social situation. - Stella Adler
Something Rotten! is a hilarious musical comedy set in 1595, following struggling playwright brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom as they try to compete with the rock-star success of William Shakespeare, leading them to invent the first-ever musical after a soothsayer predicts it's the future of theatre, resulting in a chaotic, anachronistic, and satirical show packed with Shakespearean references and musical theatre homages.
