OPEN AUDITIONS FOR Jekyll & Hyde
 
Monday, December 4- 3:30-5:30p Vocals and Acting
Tuesday, December 5- 3:30- 5:30p Dance and Acting
Monday, December 11- 3:30- 5:30p Vocals and Acting

Callbacks:
Saturday, December 16- 10:00am-Noon
 
Auditions will consist of a three-part process.
Acting Portion – No acting preparation is required. You will be asked to read from a small portion of the script from the show. Copies of these scripts will be available at the audition. Students will be reading scenes with fellow actors.

Dance Portion
– You will be asked to perform a small dance segment. You will be able to learn this dance segment via a video links provided on this page.

Vocal Portion
– You will be asked to sing a small portion of a song from the musical. To begin preparing, you can use the links provided on this page.

"Jekyll & Hyde" by Frank Wildhorn, Leslie Bricusse, and Steve Cuden

Shows:
March 15, 16, 22, 23 - 7pm; March 17 & 24 - 2p

Show synopsis: In this musical adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson novel, a London doctor accidentally unleashes his evil alternate personality in his quest to cure his father's mental illness.

The Calvert Hall Theatre Department is a dynamic and engaging program that trains our students in all aspects of this exciting and collaborative art form. From acting, singing and dancing to set design, construction, lighting and sound, Calvert Hall students learn and develop valuable skills that benefit themselves and their community.

Calvert Hall Theatre is a “hands on” immersive program. Our students joined by girls from other area high schools produce and perform plays and musicals of the highest quality in our state-of-the-art 1,300 seat theater.
