#1 Workplace in Baltimore Region

Calvert Hall College High School is honored to be named the 2025 #1 Top Workplace in the Education Sector by The Baltimore Sun. Principal, Dr. Andrew Moore, has been recognized as Midsize Business Leader of the Year.

What makes this honor especially meaningful is that it is based entirely on feedback from Calvert Hall faculty and staff through a confidential survey conducted by Energage LLC. The survey measures key aspects of the employee experience—from feeling respected and supported to being empowered and equipped to grow.

Reflecting on the recognition, Brother John Kane, FSC, Ed.D., President, shared:
“This is an amazing recognition of our 158 dedicated faculty and staff members who provide an exceptional educational experience to our students each day. We are honored to be recognized as the premier leader in educational excellence in the Baltimore region. It is something we have always believed, and now the region believes it, too. I’m especially grateful to see Andy’s exceptional leadership and Lasallian commitment affirmed through this award."

Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, added:
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor because it comes authentically from employees. Leaders must ensure their people have a voice—and that they feel heard.”

Brother John Kane, Dr. Andrew Moore, and Mr. Robert Motely accepted the award on behalf of Calvert Hall at the Top Workplaces celebration on Wednesday, December 3, at the Grand Lodge of Maryland.
