About Us

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Calvert Hall is committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive school community in alignment with the Lasallian Core Principles – Faith in the Presence of God, Respect for All Persons, Inclusive Community, Quality Education, and Concern for the Poor and Social Justice. Faithful Lasallian work necessarily demands an institutional effort and regular renewal of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. We endeavor to instill in our students respect, understanding, and appreciation for all individuals, regardless of race, sex, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, socioeconomic status, age, or religion. This commitment informs our teaching, programming, and other efforts to develop brotherhood among students and alumni. By embracing the diversity of students, families, faculty and staff, Calvert Hall seeks to develop Men of Intellect, Men of Faith, and Men of Integrity who promote justice in the world.

The DEI Steering committee serves as the primary catalyst for Calvert Hall’s efforts for a more diverse, equitable and inclusive community.
