October Blog Feature - Neal Driscoll '00

Dear Fellow Hallmen,

My name is Neal Driscoll ’00, and I am currently working at Commercial Insurance Associates, where I get to help contractors with their commercial insurance and bonding programs.  My passion is transforming a company’s insurance program from a piece of paper that protects them from certain risks/exposures to an instrument that allows them to grow and increase their profitability.
The amount of support I have received from the Calvert Hall community during this endeavor, whether it be referrals or event sponsorships, has been nothing short of remarkable.

A lot has happened in the 23-years since I graduated from Calvert Hall. After CHC, I went on to get a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, led successful sales teams in the wireless and food delivery spaces, and was a contracted NFL writer for Pro Football Network. Above all, I married an amazing woman, and we currently have two children, Christopher, and Chloe. Christopher will be Hall-bound in 2030.

It was two years ago when I looked in the mirror and told myself, “Neal it’s time for you to roll up your sleeves and GET INVOLVED in your community.” This self-call-to-action has led me to volunteering in various capacities such as serving as the President of the Lutherville-Timonium baseball program, performing as the Treasurer of the Cardinal and Gold Program (supporting CHC football), and coaching my son’s baseball and soccer teams. Also, I’ve attended monthly Calvert Hall alumni association meetings to help support their initiatives. Being able to reconnect with old classmates, coaches, and teachers from Calvert Hall has been a spectacular experience.

I’m forever grateful to Calvert Hall for enhancing my faith, providing me with life-lasting friendships, and providing a foundation that has been paramount to my success. Watching the Hall flourish and amplify its position as an integral institution for the young men in our community is something that brings me great pride. GO HALL!

Sincerely,
Neal Driscoll ‘00
