Calvert Hall used a strong second half performance to pull away from Riverdale Baptist in the opening round of the Gonzaga DC Classic in Washington DC last night by a score of 80-59.  The Hall trailed 37-33 at the end of the first half but then exploded for 47 points in the second half to secure the victory.  The Cardinals played with greater energy, passion, and toughness in the final 16 minutes.  The Hall plays Roman Catholic of Philadelphia on Saturday night at 8:30pm in the semifinals.
