Clint Black, V '99 Associate at Thomas & Libowitz, P.A. a law firm in Baltimore
My practice focuses on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, which involves drafting agreements and closing documents in connection with mergers and acquisitions, advising on corporate governance issues, and working on due diligence for clients. I have worked at the firm for almost 13 years.
Clint graduated with a Political Science degree from Stonehill College, in Easton, Massachusetts in 2003. At Stonehill, he was involved in Student Government, served as a Orientation Leader and played intramurals.
While at Calvert Hall, Clint played Ice Hockey for three years, was a member of the National Honor Society and the La Salle Program.
How did the La Salle Program prepare you for college and your college and your career? The La Salle Program prepared me for college by teaching me self-advocacy skills, time management skills, and note taking skills. I use these same skills in my legal practice.
What advice do you have for the current students in the La Salle Program? Always try each study strategy. After Calvert Hall, you will need them, and you will use them.
Clint is married to his wife, Kara. They have two sons, Tucker and Connor.
