#1 Calvert Hall was tested the entire game by a very physical and hungry McDonogh team.  The Cardinals were finally able to pull away from the Eagles in the 4th quarter.  THe Hall strung together some good defensive possessions and turned them into crucial transition baskets.  THe lead grew to as many as 11 but the Eagles showed no quit and they were able to trim the margin down to 12 before the buzzer sounded.  The victory moves the Cardinals to 2-0 in the MIAA and 3-0 overall.
