Calvert Hall entered Friday night's contest in a second place tie with St. Maria Goretti in the Catholic League.  However, after a fantastic effort on the defensive end of the floor and unselfish play on the offensive end, the Cardinals took sole possession of second with a 60-57 victory.  The Cardinals shot poorly from the field in this game but they were able to cause multiple turnovers from the Gaels which led to some transition baskets which proved to be the difference in the game.  The Cardinals overall record is now 15-4, 5-2 BCL, and 6-3 MIAA.
