The Cardinals extended their record to 6-1 defeating Annapolis 12-0 yesterday. Ben Deaver picked up his 2nd win of the season going 4 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits and striking out 5. Travis Brown came in to close out the 5th inning preserving the shutout and striking out 1 batter. Troy Stokes, Alex Murphy, and Robbie Jones led the team with 2 hits each. The Cards really came alive in the bottom of the 4th as we sent 12 batters to the plate scoring 7 runs.
