On an emotional day on LaSalle Road the host Cardinals found a way to make big plays down the stretch and to secure a 68-53 victory over their rivals from Charles St.  Prior to the game, the court was named after former coach Mark Amatucci for all of his contributions to Calvert Hall over the years.  The Cardinals jumped out to an early 18-4 lead only to see the Dons continue to trim the lead until it was down to 5 in the 4th quarter.  However, the Hall turned up the pressure defense and was able to convert steals into transition baskets to push the lead to double digits agains.  The final score was 68-53 and the win pushes the Cardinals' record to 9-2 overall.
