The Calvert Hall varsity basketball team entered the fourth quarter with a slim 40-37 lead vs. the host Mt. St. Joseph Gaels on Sunday afternoon.  However, the 4th quarter saw the Cardinals put together their finest defensive quarter of the season.  The Hall limited MSJ to one field goal in the 4th and five points overall to pull away for a 65-42 victory.  In addition, to the tremendous effort on the defensive end, the Cardinals executed their sets flawlessly down the stretch to secure the victory. The Hall is now 14-2 overall, 6-1 MIAA, and 4-1 in the BCL.  The Cardinals will be back home to take on Gilman on Monday night at 7pm.
