In their first meeting of the year, the RugCards lost 19-16 to Loyola. After taking a 16-14 lead wiht 4 minutes to play, the Cards defense couldn't close out the match. Junior Brendon Murphy provided most of the scoring for the Cards converting 3 of 4 Penalty Kicks. Senior 8M Jimmy Pessegno had given the Cards with a try at the 31 min mark. Pessegno's try capped off a 6min possession by the Cards who grinded out 85 yards from their own 15 yard line.

The Cards return to action on Tuesday, April 19 vs MSJ at home.
