Under 18 Junior Achievement Award

Scott Pawley '24 was named a recipient of the Junior Achievement of Central Maryland inaugural 18 Under 18 awards program last week. This program was founded in partnership with Baltimore Magazine to showcase the state's up-and-comers who show exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and an overall extraordinary skillset—the young people who represent our future leaders, change-makers and innovators.

Scott has created a scholarship to support students with learning differences through the Knott CARES foundation. Pawley shares, "Catholic school has been a blessing for me, and I think it is my responsibility to make it easier for others to experience that same reward.”

Scott along with the other 17 recipients will be celebrated during a special awards ceremony on May 10 at the JA Youth Workforce and Innovation Center. He will be featured in the May edition of Baltimore magazine.
