Calvert Hall fired up the offense in the first inning, when Parker Landwehr's sac fly scored two runs. The Cards notched another three runs in the fourth inning. The Hall put the pressure on, lead by a single by Antonio Barranca and a fielder's choice by Garrett McIlhenney. Peter Marchineck got the win. He allowed eight hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. Calvert Hall saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. Barranca and Jose Torres all managed multiple hits. Barranca led with three hits in four at bats.
