Cards defeat Gilman 4-3
Calvert Hall built a four-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Gilman's charge for a 4-3 victory on Wednesday.
Cards got on the board in the second inning scoring one run when Alex Khan tripled.
Brady Power was credited with the victory. He surrendered three runs on five hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Jose Torres threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Torres recorded the last out to earn the save.
