In a thrilling meet against MSJ to open up MIAA dual meet competition, Calvert Hall's varsity track team jumped, threw and ran their hearts out; and it showed in the scoring.  Coming into the last event of the day, the 4x400 m relay, Calvert Hall was in a dead tie with MSJ, 70-70.  The is considered the crem de la crem of track events and this race didn't disappoint.  Jumping out to an early lead, Calvert Hall led for the first 2 1/2 laps before a relentless 3rd runner from MSJ made the pass and slowly pulled away.  Though Calvert Hall lost the meet, the season is just getting started adn the team made a statement that Calvert Hall is back!
