CALVERT HALL IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A SCIENCE TEACHER
FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

We are seeking someone who can teach some combination of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (with a preference for Physics).
In addition to teaching, there is a strong preference for someone who will be involved in our extensive co-curricular program, whether in athletics or activities.
REQUIRED:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a Science-related field is required. A Master’s Degree and/or previous teaching experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices and strong instructional and pedagogical techniques is also imperative.
PREFERRED:
- Work well in a team-teaching environment.
- Share in presenting course lectures.
- Develop and administer a balance of traditional and alternative assessments.
- Maintain classroom decorum, encouraging orderly and stimulating discussions and student participation.
- Provide support for our students both in the classroom and outside class time.
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $44,500 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience. This position is eligible for full-time benefits, including personal and sick leave benefits.
