CHC Clinches Lead In Fifth Inning To Defeat Lake Howell

Cardinals snatched the lead late in the game in a 12-7 victory over Lake Howell on Monday.

 The game was tied at seven with Calvert Hall batting in the bottom of the fifth when Peter Marchineck hit a solo homer.
Lake Howell scored five runs in the fourth inning, but the Cardinals still managed to pull out the victory. 
The Cards opened up scoring in the first inning, when Parker Landwehr drew a walk, scoring one run.
Tyler Wright was credited with the victory for CHC. Alex Khan, Tyler Wright, and Grant Duemmel all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
 Brady Power started the game for "THE HALL". He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out four and walking one
The Cards launched three home runs on the day. Antonio Barranca went for the long ball in the first inning. Marchineck went deep in the fifth inning. Jose Torres went yard in the second inning.
CHC tallied 12 hits on the day. Marchineck, Garrett McIlhenney, Torres, and Khan each had multiple hits for Calvert Hall. Khan, Torres, McIlhenney, and Marchineck each collected two hits to lead the Cardinals.
