TOWSON, MD – Calvert Hall’s Basketball Program will hold a 25th Anniversary Celebration for the school’s 1982 National Championship team on Saturday-Sunday, January 27-28, 2007. The team, which included former NBA player, Duane Ferrell, as well as several Division I college players, finished the season 34-0 and ranked #1 in the nation by several media outlets.

On Saturday, the former players, coaches and managers are invited to attend the current varsity team’s practice and take a campus tour from 11am-2pm. They will return to campus for Mass, a Reception & Dinner at 5pm. The school’s administration, members of the faculty from 1982 and friends of Calvert Hall have also been invited to the Mass, Reception & Dinner. On Sunday, the members of the 1982 team will be introduced and recognized prior to the varsity game between the Cardinals and Loyola Blakefield at 3:30pm.
