Rick Jaklitsch '76, The Jaklitsch Law Group, has been honored for the 17th consecutive year by Martindale-Hubbell as one of the top 1% of Personal Injury Trial Lawyers in the entire country, and was selected again this year by the American Trial Lawyer Association as one of their Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Rick was also honored again by Who’s Who in American Law; has a perfect 10.0 “Superb” rating from Avvo.com, an online lawyer rating service; was named as one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Maryland; was featured in Baltimore Magazine as one of the “Top Attorney’s in Maryland” and was selected by “Super Lawyers” as a “Top Lawyer” in Washington, D.C. and Maryland.

Rick is also a member of The Million Dollar Advocates forum, called the “most prestigious group of Trial Lawyers in the United States”, as one the “Top Lawyers in America”. Rick served for many years on the Maryland State Bar Association’s Judicial Selection Committee, as a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation, was appointed by Maryland’s Governor to the Judicial Nominating Commission, and worked for many years on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.
Rick is an Honors Graduate from the University of Maryland School of Law, and earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Maryland. He is Past-President of the Terrapin Club and was selected by Maryland’s Head Football Coach this year to serve as president of the Maryland Gridiron Network.
