Congratulations to the CHC Robotics Teams!

Congratulations to two Calvert Hall Vex Robotics Team's for advancing to the World Vex Robotics Championship in Loyisville, KY in April!
Congratulations to Calvert Hall Vex Robotics Team 5588C for winning the Maryland State Tournament Champion title at Dundalk/Sollers Point HS on Saturday, March 14!  Casey Borror '17, Chris Iler '15 and Shravan Sanjiv '15 won the honor against 56 other teams at the 2015 Maryland State Championship to earn an invitation to the World Vex Robotics Championship in Louisville, KY in April.  The C robot also placed first in the Robot Skills Challenge and took home the prestigious Design Award as voted by the judges.  Team 5588R, Spiro Swanson '15, Nick Townsley '17, Will Jeffreys '17 and Howard Brown '18, also earned an invitation to the World Championship by ranking 4th in Maryland in the World rankings in Programming Skills.  Team R was awarded the Sportsmanship Award as voted by the other robotics teams.  Team 5588A - Jack Iler '17, Costa Swanson '17, James Ellis '17 and Max Cojacaru '18 - performed well in the match play rounds and had the honor of being an alliance team captain in the elimination rounds of the event.  All 6 Calvert Hall teams were honored to earn positions at the State Championships and represented the school well! Congratulations to all!
