The guys had to open the season against a tough McDonogh team featuring some nationally-ranked players. While we weren't able to come away with any match wins, we were able to pinpoint some things that we did well to extend the rallies, score a few points, and even steal a game or two. We were also able to focus on some skills to continue to work on. The atmosphere by the matches' end was the sort of stuff that coaches live for; everyone cheering on their teammates in hard-fought games. Overall, a great experience and a terrific demonstration of team spirit. I couldn't be prouder of our guys! Up next: Boys' Latin at Meadow Mill at 4:15 on Wednesday.
