CALVERT HALL IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A HEAD VARSITY WATER POLO AND SWIM COACH
FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

We are searching for both a Head Water Polo Coach and a Head Swim Coach. Although preference will be given to candidates qualified to coach both sports, candidates who only coach one of the sports will be considered.
The swimming coach position could potentially be connected to the Cardinal & Gold Aquatics club program, allowing the candidate to coach within the club program.
This is a stipend-only position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and execute instructional practice plans
- Execute strength and conditioning plans
- Continue to expand and develop the current culture of the programs
- Ability and willingness to develop relationships within the community to encourage future student-athletes to attend Calvert Hall
- Develop student-athlete competence and confidence
- Enforce team policies, beliefs, and philosophies in sportsmanship, integrity, accountability, and perseverance
- Oversee the JV programs, forging an overall program and culture mindset.
- Administrative work: Manage and track rosters, tournament registrations, monitor attendance, confirm transportation, inventory management, schedule, and website management
REQUIREMENTS:
- A desire to promote and be committed to the mission of the school
- A strong desire to develop student-athletes by improving their athletic abilities and supporting their academic aspirations
- A passion for teaching the sport of water polo and/or swimming.
- Patience and initiative
- A strong desire to engage with the community and be an ambassador
- Excellent communication and organizational Skills
- Water Polo and/or swimming experience and coaching
COMPENSATION:
This is a stipend-only position. The stipend will be commensurate with experience. Calvert Hall is an equal opportunity employer.
