Joe Baker '76 - Influential Marylander Honoree

Calvert Hall is excited to share Joe Baker '76 has been named one of The Daily Record's 2025 Influential Marylanders. Winners are honored for being influential leaders who have made significant impacts in their field (education) and continue to be leaders in Maryland. This is his second honor from the organization as he was named a 2018 Icon recipient for his lasting contributions to the region.
Influential Marylanders were selected by the editors of The Daily Record for their significant contributions to their respective fields and for their leadership in Maryland in the following areas: civic leadership, communications, education, finance, freestyle, general business, health care, law, philanthropy, real estate and technology. 

“The 2025 Influential Marylanders are dynamic leaders who are at the pinnacle of their careers, working to improve our lives, our state and our future. They are visionary, respected and actively engaged in the community,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/The Daily Record. “Influential Marylanders mentor other leaders and spark innovation and progress. We at The Daily Record are pleased to honor these outstanding members of the community.”
 
Influential Marylanders will be honored at a celebration Sept. 18 at The Grand Lodge, 304 International Circle in Cockeysville. Networking and hors d’oeuvres start at 4:30 p.m. followed by dinner stations and the awards celebration at 5:30 p.m. A dessert reception follows.
