Calvert Hall Claims Blow-Out Victory Over Penncrest

Cards won big over Penncrest 11-1 on Saturday.
In the first inning, the Cards got their offense started when Parker Landwehr singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Calvert Hall tallied four runs in the fifth inning. Jose Torres, Landwehr, and Lamar King each had RBIs in the frame.
Tyler Wright led the Hall to victory on the hill. He went four innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out four. Tyler Brown threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.Calvert Hall launched one home run on the day. Peter Marchineck had a long ball in the first inning.
The Cards racked up 11 hits. Garrett McIlhenney and Torres all had multiple hits. McIlhenney went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead in hits. Calvert Hall didn't commit a single error in the field. Landwehr had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
