Torres's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Cards' Victory Over Gilman

A walk-off grand slam led Calvert Hall past Gilman 5-2 on Tuesday.
Calvert Hall was down 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Jose Torres homered on a 3-1 count, scoring four runs.
Gilman knotted the game up at one in the top of the fifth inning. Williamson grounded out, scoring one run.
Grant Duemmel took the win. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out two and walking zero.
Peter Marchineck started the game for the Hall. He allowed two hits and two runs over five innings, striking out three
The Cards tallied two home runs on the day. Antonio Barranca went yard in the fourth inning. Torres had a dinger in the seventh inning.
Calvert Hall saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. Barranca, Torres, and Alex Khan all managed multiple hits. Khan, Torres, and Barranca each collected two hits to lead Calvert Hall. The Cards were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Sami Khan had the most chances in the field with six.
