Coach Zinkand is a 1987 graduate who played under legendary Coach Bill Karpovich. His teams won 2 MSA Championships, and included a perfect 21-0 season in 1986.

After graduating from Calvert Hall, Coach Zinkand played four years at Towson State University helping the Tigers to an East Coast Conference Championship. Rich returned to Calvert Hall as a member of the English Department in 1998.

After spending 3 years as an assistant coach with the varsity soccer program, he became head coach of the men’s program at The Community College of Baltimore County-Essex in 2002. His teams won five Region XX Championships and advanced to the NJCAA Final 8 twice. He has also coached in the Maryland ODP Program and various club teams in the area.

Coach Schultz joins the Calvert Hall soccer coaching staff for the 2012 season. As a graduate of the CHC class of 2005, he played for the 2003 MIAA Championship team. He then played at Washington College for four years where he was a team captain for two years and served as an assistant coach for 3 years.

Coach Schultz was a three-time All-Centennial Conference second team honoree while playing for WC.

He holds a USSF National "C" coaching license and a NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma.

After CHC, he completed his B.A. and M.A. in English from Washington College.
