Coach Bauersfeld (Coach JB) is entering his 8th year as the head coach of CHC.  Coach Bauersfeld's teams have won 142 games during his time at the Hall, including the Baltimore Catholic League Tournament Championship in 2010 and the Baltimore Catholic League in 2012. He has been named Baltimore Catholic League Coach of the Year in 2009, 2011, and 2014. Coach JB has coached numerous players who have gone on to play at the college level.  There are currently 10 former Cardinals who are playing at either the Division I, II or III level.  Coach served as an assistant for three years under the legendary Cardinals' coach Mark Amatucci before taking the reins in 2007.  

Coach Bauersfeld is a 1994 graduate of Calvert Hall where he played for Coach Amatucci. He is a 1998 graduate of Gettysburg College where he served as co-captain during his senior year and played under Coach George Petrie.  

He earned a Masters in Secondary Education from Towson University and is also a certified Social Studies teacher.  He teaches 9th grade World History and 11th grade US History at the Hall. 

 

Coach "Sheed" is entering his 3rd year as a part of the Calvert Hall program.  Coach Sheed has served as the head freshmen coach for the past two seasons and continues to do so this year.  In addition, Coach will also serve as a varsity assistant.  Coach Sheed is integral in the role of developing our perimeter players and finding future Cardinals for our program.
